Drone Security

Drone patrols and aerial surveillance for estates and large sites, planned and flown within UK aviation rules.

What this covers

On a large estate, a drone can check perimeters, outbuildings and woodland faster than a patrol on foot, and can give officers a clear view of what is happening when an alarm sounds. Thermal cameras extend that view into darkness.

We plan drone use around the site, the privacy of the family and of neighbours, and the rules set by the Civil Aviation Authority. Flights take place only where the registrations and authorisations that operation requires are in place.

Drone security works best as part of a wider plan, alongside residential officers, monitoring and fixed systems.

Who it suits

Owners of country estates and rural properties, organisers of events on large sites, and clients who need boundaries or buildings inspected where access is difficult.

Scope

One-off

A drone survey of a site, or deployment for a specific event or period.

Retained

Scheduled patrols or flights on request, for example while the property is empty.

Ongoing managed

Regular drone patrols as part of a managed estate security arrangement, with flight logs and reporting.

How we run it

We assess the site, its boundaries and airspace, and whether a drone adds value over other measures. We plan flight areas, times, privacy safeguards and the authorisations the operation requires.

We deploy the drone and operator, coordinated with officers on the ground. Flights are logged and reviewed, and plans are adjusted for weather, seasons and changing risks. You receive flight records, findings and any recommendations for the estate's wider security.
