Nanny & Childcare

A nanny cares for children in the family home, supporting their routines, development and wellbeing and working closely with parents.

What the role covers

Caring for children day to day, including meals, routines, play and learning.

School and nursery runs, activities and homework support.

Travelling with the family, including on rota and international postings.

Keeping parents informed and working alongside the rest of the household and any security team.

How we recruit and vet

Every candidate is interviewed, and we take up references from recent employers directly rather than relying on written letters alone. We check identity and the right to work in the UK, and verify the qualifications and experience a candidate claims.

We ask for an appropriate, current DBS check, check paediatric first aid training and childcare qualifications, and speak to previous families about the care of their children. A paid trial can be arranged before the appointment is confirmed.

Indicative package

As an indication, recent rota nanny vacancies we have advertised for overseas postings offered £80,000 to £85,000 a year, or around £6,000 a month on a month-on, month-off rota. Packages vary with experience, the number of children and travel.
